RL vs. muds

RL is the life you have when you are not mudding, Real Life.
For climbing rock faces

I wonder if this is the corporate ladder.

You know you've been in RL to much when you wonder, "Where has my mud gone?"
You know you've been in your mud to long when you wonder, "Where has my RL gone?"

In RL life, you pretty much get stuck with the abilities you are born with.
In your mud, you pretty much get stuck with the ability scores you are created with.

If you mouth someone off in RL, they'll probably want to murder you.
If you mouth someone off on your mud, they probably will murder you.

When you get sick of your mud, you can just save and quit.
When you get sick of RL, you wish you could just save and quit.

In RL, you'll eventually die.
In muds, you'll frequently die.

If you tick God off in RL, he'll probably send you to Hell.
If you tick the mud gods off, they'll probably send you to Hell too.

muds have a tendency to crash when it's least expected.
RL has a tendency to crash when you least expect it.

In RL, you spend all your time trying to make it to the top of the corporate ladder.
In muds, you spend all your time trying to make it to the top of the mortal ladder.

Chances are, you have to deal with some of the most obnoxious people in RL.
Chances are, when you get online, you'll find these same people playing your mud.

In your mud, you spend almost all day on your computer.
In RL, you probably spend almost all day on your computer anyway.
