Pets (by Ranma, May 8 2003)

Pet's require

• Food
• Shelter
• Care (Medicinal, special treats, love)
• Discipline

Pets should

• Assist against mobs
• Assist in certain skills
• Perform special skills (Having your Giant Snake impede the movements of a mob...etc)

Pets Have

• A life span (youth,teenage,adult,old)
• Different "pets" will be weaker/stronger depending on which stage they are on (Dragons would be stronger the older they are, while a dog would be strongest as an adult or teenager)

• Needs that MUST BE MET (Food, Water)
• Needs that SHOULD be met (CARE, Shelter,etc)

• If the Needs that MUST BE MET are not met when needed the Pet should weaken, then die
• If the Needs that SHOULD be met are not met then the Pet should be less responsive to commands or more likely to wander off

Ways to get a pet

• Buy it at a Pet shop or from an individual
• Charm it with Food or by aiding it somehow (Pulling the thorn from the Lions paw)
• Recieve it as a reward
